I have a camera that camect has connected and it has a username and password filled in. These are not the correct username/password. When I see the details and mouse over the fields from the camera settings page, I see a red circle with a line. I have not been able to get these to update for me.

What am I doing wrong here? I am using my gmail id/password, so it is not local. I was able to disable, delete, autodetect the camera back. I still cannot change the password. I know what the correct password is because I can login to the camera via the web.

What am I missing here?

It's possible that we have a bug causing the software to think the username/password are okay when in fact they are not. After your camera is autodetected, what does the box on the display show? Does it say "incorrect username/password" or does it say "unable to connect" ?

Please go through the disable/delete/autodetect sequence again and then use "Report Bug" and check all the checkboxes to include logs and settings from your device.

Also mention which camera is having the problem. You can mention it by camera id. To see the Id, click the camera settings, and then click the "i" next to "Camera Name".

Lastly, please also mention what make and model of camera it is.
