A Camect success story

Didn't find any mail waiting for me in my curbside mailbox.

Instead of Googling whether today was a USPS holiday or wondering if the delivery was late or missing, I scanned my Camect alerts and within a few seconds saw three email notices for "saw a USPS truck".

To my complete joy, a quick mouse click and within a few seconds I was watching the actual USPS mail truck delivery video clip.  The clip started right when the truck approached, and I could see the carrier put mail inside my neighbors box (we have two mailboxes side-by-side at the street), and skip my box and drive away - complete visual confirmation my house wasn't skipped, just actually had no mail.

I know, the usual jokes about "first world problem", but with Camect, unlike multiple other CCTV and camera systems, I was not flailing around for half an hour trying to find a relevant alert, then trying to fast forward/rewind to the right spot in the timeline to try and see the same thing.  In the past, I usually gave up and walked to the mailbox to look.  Faster, but not an option when you aren't actually home or if wasn't my normal residence.

Informed Delivery.  I know every day what to EXPECT in my mailbox.   They scan all mail, I see images of what should be in my mailbox each day.  Also expected deliveries by USPS.   Free service VERY worth the time to sign up.
