I've been trying to download a large section of video, but every time I try, it gives me a 'Failed' notification. Is there a way around this? Or do I need to just make smaller cuts. I want to download the full video and not just a summarized view.

How large a video are we talking about? (How much time, and at resolution?)  Do small downloads work fine for you?

After you try and it fails, please use Report Bug from the home settings, and check the checkboxes to include BOTH the logs from the browser and the logs and settings from your device.

I was trying to do about 24 hours. Is the resolution setting in the same spot as the summarized video spot? Normally to be able to access the quality setting I have to click on the 'Summarized video' radio button and then can choose. Do those settings also impact the 'Full length video'?

No problems downloading smaller/shorter periods of time. I'll file the bug report the next time I try a larger sample. Thanks.

Thanks. It's a bug in our code. We'll fix it.

You could only change these settings for summarized video.
For full length video, it has to be the full resolution and mp4 (most of the time).

Can you let us know when this bug is fixed? Or approximate timeline? Thank you!

We've already fixed it in the code. It's just a question of when it makes it to a release.  If you're in a hurry we could do a release sooner to get it out, but if not probably a week to 1.5 weeks.

Ah, I see. The local police dept wanted some footage for a 36 hour period so it would have been nice, but they also didn't sound very confident that the camera picked up anything. I reviewed the summary and couldn't see anything suspicious.

Okay, we'll make a small release that only adds this fix to the existing code, so that we don't have to do more extensive testing. Will it be soon enough to be useful if we release that late tomorrow?

Cool... Yes, we pushed a fix for it last night, and I'm glad to hear it worked.
