Hi. I've just read about the demise of Anki! At this early stage do you know if the Calypso software will continue to work without Anki servers? Since I am running the Cozmo app on my iPad when it is linked to the wifi of Cozmo I guess it must not be talking to the internet at that stage. This suggests that both the app and Calypso would continue to function if Anki's servers go offline. Is that the case?
Thanks, Mark.

Unlike Vector, Cozmo does not rely on any cloud servers. Your Cozmo robot should continue to function normally for years to come. And Calypso development is continuing; we have some great new features planned for release soon.

It's possible that someone will purchase Anki's assets and continue Cozmo production. If that doesn't happen, we will move to another platform. But we will continue to support Cozmo.

This is amazing good news! We're just about to put out a new Calypso release. It's great to know that people will still be able to buy Cozmos going forward, even if there is a pause in production for a year. You can still get them at Amazon or on eBay. And Calypso will be introducing more new features in 2020!
