Cozmo version 3.0.0? Calypso not compatible?

Hey,

Seems that I cannot connect Calypso with Cozmo, due to the new Cozmo update v3.0.0.
When do you release the version compatible with it? Or am I doing something wrong (already updated everything)?


Here's the log when I start Calypso:

App and SDK versions do not match!
----------------------------------
SDK's cozmoclad version: 2.9.0
         != app version: 3.0.0
Please update your SDK to the newest version by calling command:
"pip3 install --user --upgrade cozmo"
and downloading the latest examples from:
http://cozmosdk.anki.com/docs/downloads.html

No iOS device found running Cozmo: ('SDK library does not match software running on device', '1.4.4', '2.9.0', '3.0.0')
No Android device found running Cozmo: No connected Android devices running Cozmo in SDK mode

***** Version mismatch: ('SDK library does not match software running on device', '1.4.4', '2.9.0', '3.0.0') 

The Cozmo app on your mobile device was updated (new version 3.0.0).
You need to update Calypso to match.
Disconnect your mobile device and run Calypso in simulator mode.
Then go to Home -> Settings -> Update Calypso Now

Yes, Anki put out a new version of the Cozmo app, so you need to update the copy of the SDK that Calypso is using. The error message you quoted above explains how to do that:

The Cozmo app on your mobile device was updated (new version 3.0.0).
You need to update Calypso to match.
Disconnect your mobile device and run Calypso in simulator mode.
Then go to Home -> Settings -> Update Calypso Now

If you follow those steps, you'll be able to use Calypso with your Cozmo.

Hi Dave,

Thanks for fast reply. 
I tried that already. When I try to update, I already get the message that I'm running the latest version of Calypso (see attachment).
Then, I try to update anyway and I get an error regarding cchardet (see attachment). I'm running latest MacOS 10.14.1.

Any ideas what else can I try to do (already reinstall Calypso)?
