Work bee reminder & extra info

Hey skiers, this is a reminder that we have a workbee coming up this weekend at the BV Nordic Centre. Go to SignUp to grab your preferred task https://signup.com/go/oLnjDiH Or just show up around 9 am to get assigned a task. The main day is Saturday Sept 21 but you can sign up for jobs on the 22nd or 28th if that works better for you.

Barbecue lunch and smiles provided free. Volunteering at the Nordic Centre is fun and it helps keep our ski passes affordable.

There are tasks for various skill levels. One job that is not on the Signup app is organizing the purchase and filling of 4 backpacks to replace our old emergency buckets. Learn more by talking to Jan or Steve at the work bee.

Here is a win-win opportunity: Now that we have heat pumps at the lodge, there is some dry firewood that needs to be taken away. It is 20 - 24" long balsam and spruce. (Sorry, not the birch; it is for the upstairs fireplace.) Talk to Jan or Steve when you are at the work bee.
