Advice to hatha-yogis in Mexico

There was one man that was staying with us. His name was Visansalo Alphonso
Arisa and he was doing the translating work and Srila Prabhupada was very much
pleased with him. He was a lawyer, and I had gotten him.. Between he and I we
were translating the first books: Easy Journey To Other Planets and Krsna
Consciousness - The Topmost Yoga System. And Srila Prabhupada was very much
pleased with him. An older man, almost 60. And I told him, I informed Srila
Prabhupada that a lot of the gentlemen and ladies that were coming to the
temple. Srila Prabhupada was also very impressed there because so many nice
people had come to visit him. Doctors and lawyers and professors and they were
actually taking part in chanting and attending the classes. So Srila
Prabhupada.. I told him that these gentlemen, especially the lawyer was helping
us. They have practised hatha-yoga, so Srila Prabhupada turned to me and he
says "don't bother," he says "let them practice, but let them serve." He says
"don't bother them," he says "don't try to force them to give this up." I said
"yes Srila Prabhupada, I'm not bothering them I just try to get what service I
can get from them. Whatever they can render I am not trying to stop them from
their hatha-yoga attraction." He says "no you cannot stop. Let them do it and
they are serving so that is all right. They will become purified."
