Why do you love BSides? We want to share your thoughts with everyone
We at BSides Edmonton are passionate about putting together an enjoyable event for you each year. We wanted to give YOU the opportunity to share YOUR excitement with us, and the rest of the world!
We hope to use videos to encourage others to experience BSides Edmonton this year and by adding them in our materials (teasers, social media posts, event day flash presentations etc).
The ask:
Record a video of yourself on your phone, or doing a video chat with yourself on your webcam, and answer one of the following questions in 1 minute or less;
Why you (the person listening to this) should come to BSides Edmonton.
or
What was your favorite experience at a BSides Edmonton event?
or
If you have given a talk, your encouragement to others to submit as a speaker.

Also, we are launching a student+industry speaker duo initiative for BsidesEdmonton2025. We are looking for two students who have an awesome topic in mind and would like to do their 1st speaking engagement. We’ll partner you with an experienced industry speaker to guide and work your way there.
