Dear XMALab group,

I am having trouble with my camera calibration in XMALab version 2.1.0 on my Mac, and I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix it. I have files from the tutorial (and it is a little vague on how to insert the calibration images and upload files), but every time I open my marker tracking workspace, it says that the camera calibration is not optimized (as shown in the screenshot).I tried uploading the zip file of jpeg images from the trial, and I have also tried just inputting images from the zip file, but none has worked so far.  Is there any way to fix this?

Hi Kai,

Are you trying to work with the tutorial files or your own files? Attached is a screen shot with info on how to load the calibration files from the tutorial. Select New dataset and then the … to select the files from your computer. The names of the calibration files from the tutorial are visible in grey so you can see whether you loaded them properly.

Try this first and do the undistortion and calibration. Then you can load the video files of the pig from the tutorial. If that works, then you can try your own data.

Also attached here are all of the individual calibration files for the tutorial.
