Hello everyone,

A new dmg file has been uploaded to bitbucket that addresses the bug where file/directory pickers won't open on MacOS after updating to 15.4 (and 15.4.1)

The version contains no new features, but is native to apple silicon. Because there's no new features, there's no corresponding Windows version yet.

You can find it on the downloads tab at bitbucket: https://bitbucket.org/xromm/xmalab/downloads/

PLEASE NOTE: I've tested it as much as I can, but not exhaustively.  I highly recommend you make a copy of your XMAfile before working on it with this version, just in case it's making any sneaky errors I've not caught.

Peter

Sorry - just to add to that, if you do find bugs in this version, feel free to email me directly.

Hi all,

My student and I have encountered an issue this week where we can’t access the contents of the “downloads” page on any of the XROMM Bitbucket repositories. (They show up as blank, and all readme text linking to them goes nowhere.) Christopher Mayerl and his lab have reproduced the same issue.

We initially detected the problem on Tuesday. We’ve been fine for now with finding old XMALab dmg’s from friends, but this has been going on surprisingly long.

In a fun turn of events, one is seemingly unable to contact Bitbucket support without a paid user account — does anyone have a paid, personal Bitbucket account with which they can contact support about this problem?

Best,
Armita

Hi All,

Peter has updated the Windows link. The one sent earlier did not install properly.

Thanks Peter!

Meanwhile we are working on the Bitbucket downloads problem. Atlassian/Bitbucket removed downloads as a feature on free accounts. I tried to upgrade to a paid account but ran into a problem.

Good news — the bitbucket download links are back.

Links to the newest binary versions are on the landing page. Click on Downloads in the menus on the left side to see and download earlier versions.
