Rigid body visualization update issue

Using version 2.1.0 on both Windows 7 and 10 computers I'm having trouble in 2 possibly related ways with the visualization of the rigid body.

1) When I add the third bead in a new frame no visualization shows up. The ridgid body transformation graph does add a point. However, if I save and reopen the file that frame now shows that rigid body visualization.

2) When I update the location of a bead, or add an additional bead, the rigid body visualization doesn't move. The ridgid body transformation graph does update. However, if I save and reopen the file the visualization has updated.
