Hi Viraj,
The framespec contains the real world coordinates of the beads in your calibration object. The references are 4 marked points in the framespec to ease calibration. I recommend to read our paper for the validation XMALab. In the appendix there are instructions for how the calibration cube including framespec and references are being setup. You can find the manuals as well on bitbucket:
https://bitbucket.org/xromm/xmalab/downloads/Lego%20Calibration%20Cube%20Construction.pdf
https://bitbucket.org/xromm/xmalab/downloads/Small%20Lego%20Cube%20Construction%20Manual.pdf
Also checkout the wiki on bitbucket :

If you still have questions after going through the tutorial please provide more information on your calibration setup.
PS: I also suggest to run the whole tutorial by yourself before starting to work with xmalab so that things become more clear.
Best,
Ben
Hello, I am trying to externally calibrate a 1920x1080 .avi video in order to marker track. However, I do not know what values to use for many of the frame specs, and when I choose default values, the program will not let me pass. I looked in the tutorial but have not seen anything related to my issue.
