Hi all,

I built a new release of XMALab (1.5.4). As always you can download the file from the bitbucket download page.

Mac : https://bitbucket.org/xromm/xmalab/downloads/XMALab_1.5.4_beta.dmg

Windows : https://bitbucket.org/xromm/xmalab/downloads/XMALab_setup-1.5.4_beta.msi

And sorry that I did not announce the last releases in the google group. So here is a list of changes from 1.5.2 . Bigger changes are highlighted and for some of them i also added additional information, bug fixes are italic and grey as they should not change the workflow. In addition, I linked the issues for the changes in case you are interested,

Best,

Ben

1.5.4

  • fixes #194 Added new entrypoint for trial with external calibration. Added matlabscripts to convert easywand data.
  • fixes #200: Added option in settings which fixes the principal during calibration to the center of the image
  • Added opencv break on error for better debugging
  • fixes #198 : Corrects issues with multiple dummypoints and adds an option to disable to search for images when they are not found during startup
  • Fixed a bug which did not compute the number of images correctly when image sequences were not found
  • Fixed a bug which led to a crash when filtering is on but no image loaded
  • Hide all in the Display Options also disables the visual filter
  • removed WindowContextHelpButtonHint from dialogs
  • fixes #195 :  Added a filter for visual feedback
    • Thanks to Aaron Olsen the Display options now feature a new entry to filter the images. The change is only for the visual feedback and does not affect the processing. When clicking the toolbox you can tune the values as well, but the defaults should be good for most images.
  • fixes #193 : Added a framelist to the calibration which shows an overview of calibrated frames
    • In the calibration window there is now a new checkbox to show a list of the already calibrated frames. Visual indicators will show which cameras are calibrated for the specific frame. The list can also be used to navigate between calibrated frames by clicking on an entry
  • header in pointlist is hidden now
  • Corrected typo at the export of transformations
  • fixes #188 : Added the camera id to the filename of the exported MayaCams
  • Added support for packed 12bit cine videos

  • Added support for packed 10bit cine videos

1.5.3

  • fixes #151  : Reworked undistortion dialg and enabled it again
    • I added a new dialog to undistort image sequences which are not part of a trial. To use it go to File->undistort sequence. You will see a dialog which you can load sequences to distort for the selected camera. Once the queue is filled simply click undistort and the sequences will be undistorted
  • fixes #184 : Frame range can be set when exporting precision info
  • fixes #182: Added option to go through Rigid Body Error plot using a threshold (same as in the projection error plot)
  • fixes #181 : Added option to settings which enables rendering of Marker Ids in detail view
  • fixes #177 : removed enter full screen for MAC and made export for external enabled through settings
  • fixes #178 : Decreased settings dialog size and corrected focus and button highlight
  • fixes #185 : Camera calibration crashed during computation of errors when points were not detected in an image
