Dear Newsletter,

In just four weeks, the Braver Angels 2026 National Convention will commence on the hallowed grounds of Philadelphia at Temple University.

Today, we are pleased to announce our full schedule and program.

This year's program is our biggest yet. From the morning of June 25th through the afternoon of June 28th, we will have over 100 programs happening throughout the convention—plenaries, breakouts, evening events, and special activities. On the momentous occasion of America's 250th and Braver Angels' 10th anniversaries, we cooked up something special.

You can now go to our freshly updated Programs & Agenda page and see the complete Schedule and Programs & Activities List. You can also see newly announced speakers and programs. Check out some of our new Marquee Events:

  • A Press Worthy of the Pledge: Journalism for a Renewed Republic, featuring Maury Giles, Amanda Ripley, John Gable, and Roxanne Patel Shepelavy.
  • Beyond the 6-3: Inside Today's Supreme Court, featuring Sarah Isgur.
  • Coliseum Debate: Immigration, with Oren Cass, Mark Krikorian, Jennie Murray, and Gaby Pacheco.
  • Jazz, the Blues, and the Omni-American Dream, featuring John Wood Jr., Heather Blakeslee, Angel Eduardo, Jacob Roundtree, Brent Morden, Greg Thomas, and a virtual appearance from Cornel West.
  • Love in the Age of Polarization, featuring Dr. Bill Doherty and Gabriella Kearns.
  • The Science and Practice of Constructive Disagreement, featuring Julia Minson.

You can also now read about the three incredible Featured Artists who will be joining us on stage at the convention this year: Carrie Manolakos, Derek Richard Thomas, and Greg Thomas. Each embodying a unique background and genre, these artists will join us onstage for performances and a special panel discussion, Music’s Role in Courageous Citizenship: Panel Discussion with the Convention’s Featured Artists. And stick around for our Closing Night Concert and Party – it’ll be a night to remember!

There will also be many other special activities happening throughout the convention—professional portraits, guided historical tours, film screenings, video recordings, and more!

If you haven't already, apply to be a delegate and join us in Philadelphia. And if you've applied, but haven't yet register—it's time to register. The deadline for standard registration is Monday, June 8th.

We hope to see you there.

Sincerely,

Mark Metzger
Convention Director
