We ate the last of the pecan pie for dessert!  Today will be turkey vegetable soup.  I made a turkey breast in the crockpot this year (which does not give crispy skin unless you finish it under the broiler). It kept the meat nice and moist.

That sounds delicious!

Because of various sensitivities in our house, no turkey, fish or ham, so we had herb-encrusted roast lamb and small potatoes to feast on instead. With homemade cranberry sauce, stuffing, and cannoli crackers and dip for dessert.

Did you make the cannoli crackers?

No. The bigger Market Baskets have them and the dip together in their bakery section.

My Thanksgiving was quite edible. And now I have turkey lunches to take to work.  I don't go anywhere or do anything special other than practice cooking.  Very low stress.  The turkey  bones go into the freezer and then make turkey stock for the end of the year for turkey barley soup.
