These actions came up during the April 2025 meeting and can be added to upcoming April 2026 meeting. What is our progress?

Apologies, I completely fell down on the job of reminding people of these things throughout the year. I attribute my inaction to my recent retirement and move (and my deepest sympathies to Kevin Roche for same this summer).

__ Anne Davenport would like to talk to Kevin Roche about check-in form and combining it with my Excel check in

(No action taken before April 2026)

__ Kevin Roche (ICG President): Reconstitute Communication and PR Committee and recruit members.

(action???)

__ Phil Gust requests 500 words from each Chapter and SIG over the next year (2025/26). This would double the newsletter output in 2025

(action???)

__ Phil Gust will be forming a selection committee to evaluate merits of proposed titles for ICG Press. Interested persons should Phil Gust at ICGPres...@costume.org or any of PG’s other email addresses.

(action???)

__ Chapters and SIGs should leverage google workspace functions (especially email lists).

(action???)

__ Has there been any more google workspace training?

(action???)

__ Andrew Trembly has looked options that might work for replacing Quickbooks after  support is being discontinued by Intuit. Has a not-too-expensive solution/fix been found?  Elaine Sims and Andrew Trembly were going to look at Quickbooks options.

(action???)

__ Kevin Roche appointed Anne Davenport to Chair ad-hoc committee, Process and Protocols Documentation Committee.  And recruit other committee members. Also, use this for Chapters to list things that they would like volunteers to do – possibly putting this on ICG web page.

(No action taken before April 2026)

Leslie Jonston has to do a process required by the State of Maryland to make the updated By-Laws official.

(action???)

I will try to get this done for the Sick Pups in 2026. Byron

As the Sick Pups Prez, I decline to do this. I do not like Google or any of its off-shoots. I prefer Word and its related programs and intend to continue using them. Byron

What would be the committee’s charge? Byron

On the question of the By-laws, I determined that we do not need to re-file the new by-laws and standing rules with the state of Maryland. Kevin and I also confirmed with Jeanine that we are up-to-date with our Maryland Resident Agent--we have paid a service for this after Jeanette Holloman (our previous Maryland RA) passed away--and do not need to take any actions.

The By-laws and Standing Rules links on the ICG website now point to the final versions that were approved at the 2025 annual meeting. The originals of these documents reside in a Google Drive folder where corporate records are maintained.
