How might I get a book reviewed?  

The book is Recreating Historic Dress by Nancy E Hills.  It focuses on 25 garments, a short discussion of each piece, photographs of the garment details and a pattern I took from the garment.  

 On the cover of the paperback below shows a gown from 1834 which served a wedding dress for a Hereford smock maker, Mary Bufton.  This lovely blue striped cotton gown displays Mary’s fastidious stitching technique as well as the remnants of a two-inch grow tuck a third of the way up the skirt demonstrating someone shorter likely wore the dress at some point.  The close up of the fabric frames the image of the dress, allowing you to enjoy the intricacies of the fabric pattern.

The garments in the book are all from the Hereford Museum and Art Gallery Historic Clothing collection in Hereford, UK.
