I received this from CCG. Sad they are disbanding, but glad many will be staying on with SiW. Hopefully they will be available as advisors to help if a new chapter decides to form.

To the Officers of the ICG.
Sadly, I am writing this letter to Inform you that the Chicagoland Costumer's Guild Is officially disbanding as of June 1, 2025. The guild has had many happy and productive years of costuming. However, after the death of several members In the last few years, and a small and aging group we have found we cannot continue. We want to give younger people in the area an opportunity to create a more energetic and engaged guild for the Chicago area. I know that
most of the members of the CCG are planning on continuing as part of the ICG by joining the Silicone Web.
We.have closed out our bank account and the balance of that account, $174.60, we will be including a check with this letter. We would like to request that this money be used by the ICG as seed money to either start a new Chicagoland guild, or to help start a new CostumeCon. If after 1 year,
neither of these things has occurred, we would like the money to go to the archives fund.

I am sure the Pups join me in expressing our sorrow over Chicagoland’s dissolution and in hoping that all members will remain with the ICG in other chapters.
