Hi Anne,
I think that you are looking at the ICG-BOD Files area. Unfortunately, the crawler that was used to archive the Yahoo Group was not able to capture Files subdirectories due to technical restrictions with Yahoo Groups. As you noted, these appear with a trailing '/' in the directory listing. It would have required more time to archive them by hand than we had before Yahoo groups shut down. We are very grateful that at least that the crawler was able to capture the discussions and polls completely.
Please let me know if this answers your question.

ICG-BOD Yahoo Group archive (2000-2019): Files
I get a bare-bones directory of files and what look like file directories.
If I click on anything that looks like a file -- it has a number for 'size' -- then either a file opens in my browser, or it downloads to my hard drive if it's big.
If I click on anything that looks like a directory -- the name ends with a '/' and don't have a file size like:
2003 Membership Survey/
Administriva/
I get the 404 error page, like the directory isn't there. Has anyone else tried clicking on these directories.
Anne --Do you have any information about the file that might help us?ByronOn Apr 19, 2026, at 10:09 PM, Anne Davenport <thedoc...@siweb.costume.org> wrote:I was just looking at the Yahoo Group archive files and it looks likwe any of the 'files' that have names that look like they're subdirectory names -- the name ends in a '/' and they don't have a file size -- leads to the dreaded Page 404 File Not Found page.Is there any way to find what might be in these sub-directories?Anne D.

Thanks for letting me know. I had thought about omitting the Files option for the Yahoo Group archives, but there was some useful content at the top level, and the directory listing provided some information about what else used to be there.
