How to install WunderLINQ on a Garmin Overlander?

Hello,

I'm not quite clear how to get the WunderLINQ app installed on an Overlander, since I don't know the device?

Can "WunderLINQ "please explain?

I know that the WunderLINQ app also runs with the "Garmin Tread 8" as there is a browser there, so you can run the .apk file directly from GitHub.

The ability to use WunderLINQ with Gamin is awesome.

Hi,

I believe the Overlander has a browser as well.  Another option is to enable developer options like in that video and enable USB debugging under it.  You can then use a USB cable and the 'adb' command to install the APK from your computer.

We started to do some testing of the Overlander and Tread lines.  

Tread 8 might be a little too big :)

Hi,

thanks for the info and yes the Tread 8" is too big :-)

There is with the "Tread Base Edition" an interesting size in the Zumo XT format but there are no options to install the WunderLINQ app.

I have read all sorts of information but found nothing on the subject and on suspicion I do not want to buy the device.

Finally, the Zumo XT is probably also based on Android but again there are no options.

I have written to Garmin on the subject of whether there is any way to still install an .apk file.
