My WunderLINQ, that has performed flawlessly for a couple of years now, has suddenly decided to disappear. It is still receiving power from my BMW R1250GS as the blue LED comes on with ignition but the bike doesn't sense the presence of a nav device and it is not visible on any device (iPhone  Samsung tab). I haven't used DFU for ages and have no idea what to do next. I emailed support but received no response as yet. Suggestions would be great. I plan on getting a Thork Racing T665 soon and WunderLINQs integration was an exciting prospect....but no longer :(

Hello, have you already updated your WLQ to the latest firmware version?

As no other device can connect to the WL that would be impossible...

Was just in contact with support and they do not want to help with this. Mine is also showing solid blue as soon as it gets power. No bluethooth connection can be established. This is my second device that has failed like this. Support is saying it can be reset but I cannot find this in any documentation. Also no bluethooth = no firmware update.

Today my WL failed exactly this way. Solid blue LED and no bluetooth connection is possible. I tried all reset options without any progress. If it turns out that this happens quite often and the support will not help I’m not sure to recommend this podict any longer.

I actually ran into the developer @  either the 49'er  or the BMW National Rally (Bend, Oregon)  and let him know my concerns in person and he stated that they're revamping the website support but also was unaware of the frustrations of users like us (which smacks of BS) so I've retired the unit (I won it at the Bizbee Rally) and won't be using it as it's way too buggy and not worth relying on it

Hi Michael,

Your WL failed "today" and we wouldn't help you? Sorry we are a small team, and it may take a couple of days to respond especially over a holiday.  We had a chat message from you over the weekend, that we replied to on Tuesday after the Holiday. Was it a reseller that wouldn't help you or was it our lack of same-day response?

The actual percentage of failure rate is low, less than 1%, of course, you don't see the thousands of users who post about things working as normal.

Thanks,
Keith
