Keith,
Is this the same issue I have? (We talked like 8-9 months ago.) Data being sent, but no reaction from scroll wheel? I have been meaning to disconnect the ezCAN to see if that might be the reason, but haven't got around to it. Cannot really see how, but I'm no expert on canbus signaling.

Hi Keith. I'm finding the same issue. Do you have any suggestions? Do I need to perhaps upgrade the WL device firmware?
Thanks and sunny greetings from Sydney!

Hi Troy,

A device update won't resolve the issue, we only recommend a firmware update if we fix a bug you encountered or add a feature you want.

Are you still receiving performance data?  If so your phone may just need a reboot, you could also try a Network reset as described in our documentation.

Thanks,
Keith

Thanks Keith! I think the firmware hasn’t been updated for a really long time, so I’ll go through that process. I’ll try the reboot and network reset as you suggest as well. Keep up the awesome work!

Any new insight, Keith? Just had a customer here with the same issue as I do: I receive performance data, but no reaction from the scroll wheel on the tablet. We think there must be a conflict between Hex ezCAN / Denali CANsmart (same product) and WL.

Denali is growing fast in the BMW market, so you may want to look into this properly.

Hi Thor,

They should not interfere with the WunderLINQ, they are only passive CAN sniffers. The WunderLINQ participates properly in the BMW systems :)

This is usually one of three things:
1) The phone's Bluetooth settings are in a weird state and need a reset or just a reboot.

2) When someone sets the keymappings to custom but doesn't set key mappings.

3) New user with a TFT forgets to switch to Nav mode on the cluster.

If you still have contact with them please pass this on and or reach out to this email.

Thanks,
Keith
