In order to combat previously experienced issues, and improve the overall
efficiency and speed of the committee process, we will be structuring our
work as such:
A single unit of progress is called a sprint. It lasts exactly 10 days.
Each sprint has as its goal to produce tangible results.
Each committee member is expected to have contributed in some way
during the sprint towards the final goal. Failure to do so is acceptable given
a reasonable explanation for the impediment.
In the case of the RFC Committee, each sprint will focus on writing and
approving one or more RFCs that describe a particular set of behaviours.
There will exist threads called 'Working Topics' in which committee members
should discuss the given topic, give, (dis)approve ideas, etc.
After each sprint there will be a 4 day transitional period, during which the topic
for the next sprint is chosen, and (optionally), the results, implications, and
examples of the previous one will be shown off.
The first sprint starts on October 13th.
