Dear Students,
It’s time to start planning for the 2026 Biology Olympiad season. I’ve put together a comprehensive list of biology competitions open to secondary and high school students worldwide. Please review the list below and select 5–7 competitions you’d like to participate in next year:

Why Competitions MatterBiology competitions aren’t just about medals. They push you to:
Master university-level content early – giving you a real advantage in future studies.
Develop scientific reasoning skills – learning to analyze, not memorize.
Build academic credibility – strong results in Olympiads make applications to top universities (including Oxbridge and Ivy League schools) far more competitive.
Learn persistence and precision – skills that matter more than luck in any field of science.
Students who start early — now — have a massive advantage. Most top-performing students spend 6–12 months preparing before the main competition season begins. If you wait until spring, you’ll be playing catch-up with those who already have their foundation solid.
Training with BiolympiadsTo help you prepare effectively, the Biolympiads Training Camps are designed to guide you through every stage — from theory to application.
The camps include interactive lectures, mock exams, and detailed feedback.
You’ll learn exam strategies specific to Olympiad-style multiple-choice and short-answer questions.
Camps cover material from Campbell Biology, Brain Facts, and other key texts used in real competitions.
If you’re aiming for the British Biology Olympiad, Intermediate Biology Olympiad, Biology Challenge, or International Biology Olympiad, these camps will give you the structured preparation you need to perform at your best.
