Two new Biology Olympiad Training Camps start this fall

Hello from Biolympiads! 

This weekend on Saturday, 14 August 2021, we are starting two new biology olympiad training camps:

• Introductory Biology Olympiad Training Camp
  • The Amebozoans will learn from Campbell Biology and build biology knowledge from scratch. 
    • Designed for 8th, 9th and 10th graders with little biology knowledge
    • 2 hrs per week (on Saturdays and Sundays)
    • 1 hr per class 1pm - 2pm EST
    • 26 weeks
• Advanced USABO Training Camp  
  • The Flippases will study advanced biology textbooks and delve deeper into biology beyond Campbell. 
    • Designed for 9th-12th graders with prior biology knowledge who are preparing for USABO 2022
    • 4 hrs per week (on Saturdays and Sundays)
    • 2 hrs per class 12 pm - 2pm EST 
    • 29 weeks

The training camps are online and are delivered by our experienced tutors who are IBO medalists and USABO Semifinalists. The full list of tutors can be found here. 

COURSE FEATURES

All camp participants will be able to access study resources on Schoology. This includes:

• Lecture recordings 
• Handouts for each chapter
• Lecture presentations
• Weekly worksheets

 All classes will be recorded and uploaded on Schoology. We recommend spending 2-3 hrs on homework and pre-reading the chapters before each class.

Start date: Saturday, 14 August  2021
Course cost: 

• Introductory camp: $1400 (we accept payments in 4 instalments of $350)
• Advanced camp Part 1 - $1400 and Advanced camp Part 2 - $1400 (we accept payment in 4 instalments of $700)

Hello Ann,

You can still join the Advanced camp. All class recordings are uploaded on Schoology along with all the course materials. We recommend to focus on the current topics and after the course is over, you can do the missed modules. ;-) The pace is fast so we guess you won't have time to study the modules that we have already covered and the current ones simultaneously.
