Two USABO training camps start tomorrow

Hello from Biolympiads!

Tomorrow we are starting two new camps which will help students prepare for the Biology Olympiad. The camps are offline so you can study at your own pace, however, there will be LIVE review sessions so you should join them at designated times.

 

USABO SEMIFINAL PREPARATION CAMP

COURSE FEATURES 

 

Duration:6 weeks


Schedule: Offline with minimum 14 hrs per week of self-studying + live problem-solving sessions  

Problem-solving class time: 12pm EST - 2pm EST


Course cost: $1400

Course start date: February 12, 2022  

 


COURSE CONTENT  

The USABO Semifinal 2022 Camp will cover: 
* Cell Biology (30%)
* Biochemistry (20%)
* Genetics and Evolution (20%)
* Plant Anatomy and Physiology (20%) 
* Human physiology and Anatomy (50%)
* Biosystematics (20%)
* Zoology (20%)
* Ecology (5%)
* Ethology (5%)

Over the course of 6 weeks, students will cover the most important topics which come up in the USABO semifinal exam. Students will get access to the recordings of the past camps, handouts, worksheets and presentations to supplement their learning. There will also be 16 hrs of live problem-solving sessions. In addition, there will be 3-4 Mock USABO exams and the best student will get a $40 Amazon gift card.

 

 

INTRODUCTORY USABO PREPARATION CAMP

COURSE FEATURES

Duration: 24 weeks
Schedule: Offline with minimum 4 hrs per week of self-studying + 9 live review sessions for each unit
Review class time: 12pm EST - 2pm EST
Course cost: $1400
Course start date: February 12, 2022

Over the course of 24 weeks, students will cover the most important topics which come up in the USABO exam. The key course textbook is Campbell Biology (any edition starting from 9th). Every week, students will cover 2-4 chapters from the textbook on their own. Students will get access to the recordings of the past camps in addition to handouts, worksheets, and presentations to supplement their learning. There will also be 9 live review sessions during which students can ask any questions.  
 

COURSE MATERIALS
All camp participants will be able to access study resources on Schoology.com. This includes:
* Lecture recordings (all classes except for problem-solving sessions have been already recorded)
* Handouts for each chapter
* Lecture presentations
* Weekly worksheets
