Think You’re Good at Neuroscience? Prove It.

Most students think the brain is “too complicated” — until they start training for the Brain Bee. Then they realize it’s just science with more electricity.

If you’ve ever wondered how your neurons actually think, why sleep deprivation wrecks your memory, or what dopamine really does (beyond TikTok memes), this camp is for you.

What Is the Brain Bee?

The International Brain Bee is a neuroscience competition for high school students. You’ll study how the human brain and nervous system work — and then test your knowledge against the best young minds in the country. Winning it can open doors to top universities, neuroscience programs, and research opportunities.

Why Join This Introductory Camp

This isn’t a dull “read the textbook and take a quiz” kind of class. It’s a hands-on, engaging introduction that helps you:

  • Understand real neuroscience — from brain anatomy to neurological disorders

  • Learn how to prepare effectively for the Brain Bee and similar Olympiad exams

  • Build a strong foundation before joining the advanced training programs

  • Meet like-minded students who actually care about science (and aren’t afraid of Latin terms like hippocampus)

Who It’s For

Students in grades 8–12 who are curious, ambitious, and ready to challenge themselves — no neuroscience background required. Just bring your brain and some curiosity about how it works.

What You’ll Learn
  • The basics of neuroanatomy and major brain regions

  • Neurophysiology: how neurons communicate, fire, and malfunction

  • Brain Bee preparation tips from experienced coaches

  • The study strategy that top competitors use to memorize complex material efficiently

Why This Matters

Neuroscience isn’t just another subject — it’s the key to understanding everything from memory and learning to mental health and behavior. Whether you want to become a doctor, researcher, or just someone who actually knows how the brain works, this camp gives you a serious head start.

Ready to Join?

Spots are limited — because this is an interactive camp, not a giant Zoom lecture.
