Junior Biology Olympiad Training Course 2024


The Junior Biology Olympiad Training program focuses on introducing biology to middle school students (grade 6 to 8) with the aim of inspiring the young learners to advance to the Biology Olympiad in high school. The course is designed for students from around the world. Over the course of 12 weeks, you will cover the most important biology topics which will build a solid foundation of knowledge for the biology olympiad.


Students will receive access to resources of the Junior Biology Olympiad course which includes:


* Lecture recordings 

* Handouts for each lesson

* Class presentations

* Weekly worksheets


Duration: 12 weeks

Schedule: 45 mins on Saturdays and 45 mins on Sundays (1.5 hrs per week)

Class time: 08:00-08:45 PST (or 11:00-11:45 EST)

Course cost: $750 (24 lessons)

Course start date: March 2, 2024

Introductory USABO Spring Camp 2024


The goal of the Biolympiads Training Program is to prepare highly motivated 8th-10th grade students to compete in the USA Biology Olympiad and other biology contests. The students will follow an intensive curriculum prepared by experienced biology olympiad coaches.  

 

 All students will:

  • Attend live Zoom biology olympiad preparation classes
  • Have access to class recordings and study materials
  • Have 24/7 access to the Skype group where you can communicate with tutors throughout the camp and ask any questions to help you prepare for the olympiad
  • Receive the Certificate of attendance 

 

Duration: 21 weeks

Schedule: 2 hrs on Saturdays and 2 hrs on Sundays (4 hrs per week)

Class time: 12-2pm EST

Course cost: $1500

Course start date: March 23, 2024

Advanced USABO Spring Camp 2024


This program consists of 18 weeks of intensive training to prepare students for the USABO 2024 Open and Semifinal exams.


Duration: 18 weeks

Schedule: 3 hrs on Saturdays and 3 hrs on Sundays (6 hrs per week)

Class time: 12pm - 3pm EST 

Course cost: $1800 

Course start day: December 2, 2023


Over the course of 18 weeks, the training camp will cover the most important advanced topics which come up in the USABO exams. The breakdown of topics is as follows:


* Human physiology and Anatomy: 30%

* Cell Biology & Biochemistry: 30%

* Genetics: 15%

* Plant anatomy and physiology: 15%

* Ecology & Ethology: 10%

Introductory Medicine Training Course


The Introductory Medicine Training Course focuses on introducing medicine to any interested high school students with the aim of inspiring the young learners to purse a medical career. The course is designed for any student from around the world. Over the course of 12 weeks, students will cover the most important human anatomy and physiology topics which will build a solid foundation of knowledge for their future.


This course is an excellent springboard for USA Medicine and Disease Olympiad (USMDO) and International Medicine and Disease Olympiad (IMDO)


Students will receive access to resources which include:

* Lecture recordings 

* Handouts for each lesson

* Class presentations

* Weekly worksheets


Duration: 12 weeks

Schedule: 180 mins on Saturdays and 180 mins on Sundays (6 hrs per week)

Class time: 12:00-15:00 pm EST

Course cost: $1200

Course start date: on a rolling basis, the next batch is planned to start in March 2024


The key course textbook is BRS Physiology (Board Review Series) and Anatomy and Physiology by OpenStax . Every week, students will cover 2-4 chapters from this book. Each class is accompanied by homework. Also students will receive handouts which can be printed out before the class.
