Dear All,

On 3March 2025  (1-4pm AEDT), staff from the European Nucleotide Archive (ENA) will be delivering an on-line 3 hour training workshop for Australian researchers explaining how to submit genome assembly and annotation data to ENA using the command line.

By the end of the workshop you should able to:
  • Identify the importance of data sharing
  • Outline the purpose of ENA
  • Explain the ENA Metadata Model and the importance of metadata
  • Submit genome assemblies and annotations data to ENA using the required command line based interface method

This session is part of a series of workshops co-organised by ENA and Australian BioCommons covering data submission and retrieval to the ENA.

Other topics in the series include how to submit raw read data to ENA using a variety of different methods.

For more information and to register, click here.

Note: The genome and assembly submission workshop requires a basic understanding of how to interact with the command line.

Please feel free to share with your networks.
