Dear colleagues,
Thank you to those of you that came along to the Multi-omics Community Meeting last week. For those that couldn’t attend we heard from Dr Ignatius Pang from Australian Proteome Analysis Facility who presented an integrative analysis of multiple omics datasets from Rett Syndrome patient’s blood and walked us through the steps taken and project outcomes with a comparison of three methods (individual, MOFA+ and MixOmics). You can see the recording from that meeting here.
Next year we will meet quarterly from March 2025. In the year ahead, the aim is to grow this community and I invite you to share this group widely with colleagues that are working or have an interest in multi-omics. If you have suggestions for activities and topics to cover or you would like to be more involved in managing this community, please get in touch with me.
Enjoy your festive season and summer break. I look forward to seeing you in the new year.
Regards,
Tiff
