Reminder: Microbiome Analysis Community Meeting | Tuesday, 18th March, 13:00 AEDT

Hi all,

This is a reminder to join us at the next Microbiome Analysis Community Meeting. These meetings are open to anyone with an interest in microbiome analysis including amplicon and metagenomics analyses. 

At our last meeting we heard from Dr Clare Sloggett at The University Of Melbourne who gave us insight into the development of the AusTrakka platform for genomic pathogen surveillance and we heard from Dr Andrew Bissett at CSIRO, who provided an update on the continental-scale collaborative microbiome project, Australian Microbiome Initiative. The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, 18th March, 13:00 - 14:30 AEDT and you can find the details here.

During this meeting we will hear about:

• Fish Gut Microbiomes and Health Assessments - Dr Alejandro Trujillo-González & TBC, University of Canberra, 

• Showcasing the New Microbiology Lab on Galaxy Australia - Dr Gareth Price, Project Lead, Galaxy Australia

• A new Microbiome Analysis Learning Library Collection - a community activity

• Other business (please bring your business or related news items to the meeting)
