Hi all,

Australian BioCommons is once again facilitating collaborations with the ELIXIR BioHackathon this November (biohackathon-europe.org/). We are currently seeking an Australian co-author for a project proposal focused on knowledge graphs using microbiology data.

The project aims to integrate and represent microbiome data across various use cases, including environmental, health, and food research.

If you have interest or expertise in this area, please contact me and I will connect you with the European project leads and share the draft proposal. Please note that the deadline for project submissions is tomorrow, April 15th (Europe time).

Best regards,
Tiff

Tiff,

This looks like a great opportunity for either Calum or Geraldine (CC:ed) in my team - their research focus is microbiome interpretation.

I am leaving for overseas tomorrow, but I will send extra messages to them given the urgency of this opportunity.

Is there any BCA funding to support travel to the hackathon?

Torsten
