Dear All,

On 1 April 2025 (1-4pm AEDT), staff from the European Nucleotide Archive (ENA) will be delivering an on-line 3 hour training workshop for Australian researchers explaining how to submit Metagenome-Assembled Genome (MAG) data to ENA and MGnify using the command line.

By the end of the workshop you should able to:
  • Identify the importance of data sharing
  • Outline the purpose of ENA and MGnify
  • Explain the ENA/MGnify Metadata Model and the importance of metadata
  • Submit MAG data to ENA/MGnify using the required command line based interface method
This session is part of a series of workshops co-organised by ENA and Australian BioCommons covering data submission and retrieval to the ENA.

Other topics in the series include how to submit raw read data to ENA using a variety of different methods

For more information and to register, click here.

Note: The MAG submission workshop requires a basic understanding of how to interact with the command line.

Please feel free to share with your networks.
