I’m getting in touch to share some information about an upcoming workshop on Introduction to metabarcoding with Qiime2 which will take place on 22 February 2022.
This workshop will introduce the topic of metabarcoding and how you can use Qiime2 to analyse 16S data and gain simultaneous identification of all taxa within a sample. We'll be using example 16S data from the shallow-water marine anemone E. diaphana, to learn how to use this Qiime2 to run essential steps in microbial analysis including generating taxonomic assignments and phylogenetic trees, and performing both alpha- and beta- diversity analysis.
It's free to join but applications are essential and close on 8 February. For more information and to apply visit the Australian BioCommons training pages.
