Invitation to join in a roundtable discussion on eDNA data submission

Dear Colleagues,

Australian BioCommons is pleased to host members of the European Bioinformatics Institute's European Nucleotide Archive (ENA) team for an online community roundtable discussion focused on environmental DNA (eDNA) data. 

We invite all across the research, government, private and community sectors working with eDNA to attend to:

• obtain updates from the Australian community as well as the ENA team regarding eDNA sequence submission to global repositories, and 

• discuss challenges and suggestions for improvement in interoperability between local and international resources.

All are welcome and please feel free to distribute to your networks.

We also encourage participants to attend the online training event the previous day (Wednesday 02 April 2025) entitled “Submitting environmental DNA (eDNA) data to the European Nucleotide Archive” which will cover aspects of eDNA data submission to the ENA.
