Hi all,
Please join us next week for our final Genomics Community Meeting of 2025 on Tuesday, November 11th, at 1 PM AEDT.
This meeting will feature a presentation from:
Dr. Zaka Yuen, Postdoctoral Research Fellow, The John Curtin School of Medical Research, Australian National University
Dr. Hasindu Gamaarachchi, Senior Lecturer, School of Computer Science & Engineering, University of New South Wales
They will present on "Onboarding the 1KGP-ONT Long-Read Data Collection to NCI," discussing the 1,000 nanopore long-read data genomes project recently made available at the National Computational Infrastructure (NCI) in Canberra.
We will also have a community discussion about Genomics Community activities in 2026 and any other business you wish to bring to the meeting.
These meetings are open to anyone with an interest in genomics, and all are welcome.
We hope to see you there!
Regards,
Tiff
