Hi everyone,

The UQ Data Science CRP have kindly made their upcoming Galaxy workshop available to anyone in Australia. Places are limited so get in quick if you are keen.

Metagenomics using Galaxy
This hands-on session offers a beginner-friendly introduction to metagenomic analysis using the MOTHUR tool within the Galaxy platform. Participants will learn the fundamentals of metagenomics, including how it is used to study microbial community composition, diversity, and functional potential from sequencing data.

Online, Wednesday 4 November, 9am - 5pm AEST / 10 - 6pm AEDT / 9:30 - 5:30 pm ACDT / 7am - 3pm AWST

If you are new to Galaxy or need a refresher before joining this workshop you can join Melbourne Bioinformatics for an (online) Introduction to Galaxy for Bioinformatics on 2 October.

Happy learning,

Melissa
