This is a reminder to join us at the next Genomics Community Meeting. These meetings are open to anyone with an interest in genomics.
At our last meeting we heard from Dr Richard Edwards from University of Western Australia (although Rich has now left this post) about a number of relevant tools for genome assembly, curation and quality check that Rich developed. You can watch the video recording of that meeting here.
The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, 5th March, 13:00 AEDT and you can find the details here.
During this meeting we will hear about:
Workflows on Galaxy Australia - Dr Anna Syme, Science Lead, Galaxy Australia
Data Transfer using Globus - Greg D’Arcy, Digital Research Product Manager, AARNET
Data Transfer using FileSender - Dr Sara King, Training and Engagement Lead, AARNET
A new Genomics Learning Library Collection - a community activity
Other business (please bring your business or related news items to the meeting)
Anyone who is working or interested in this space is invited to join us!
