Dear all,

Thank you to those of you that came along to the meeting last week to continue the discussion about eDNA Infrastructure Needs. You can see the recording and a copy of the chat from the meeting here. We identified a number of working groups on areas of interest that had community interest:

  • Data Governance - Metadata & Data Sovereignty

  • Database linkage

  • Automated INSDC submission - FAIRe

We also identified other potential working groups:

  • Training

  • Galaxy eDNA Lab

In the next few weeks I will meet with the Southern eDNA Society committee to identify overlaps and ways to facilitate these working groups moving forward. IN the meantime, please reach out if you have interest or other suggestions or feedback. I will get back in touch after I meet with the SeDNA Society.

Thank you,
Tiff
