Does the biotrack pack work in ubuntu 14.04 64 bit?

Hello, 

I assume an OS Ubuntu 14.04 64 bit. I downloaded the biotrack pack 1.5 binaries for 64 bit and they don't open on my OS. When i try to execute them this message appears in the terminal "Segmentation fault (core dumped)". Would the compiling from source method work? The problem is i have no experience with compiling so i would follow your instructions specifically.

I was wondering if you have any solution to that problem so that i would be able to execute them.

Also as i might use this program for my research, is there a specific way to reference your software ?
