Happy Friday! Here are the latest news and updates we have for this week.

East Side Clayton Rd./ Mt. Pleasant Street Audit

Come share your thoughts on how to make streets safer and more bicycle accessible in the Mt. Pleasant neighborhood with the San Jose Department of Transportation on Thursday, August 18th at 6pm.  The meeting will be held virtually on zoom and will be offered in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese.  Please RSVP through this link. See the attached flyer for more information. The meeting is open to all community members.

Check out our San José local team page on our website and provide your feedback. I would like to include an updated team picture next time we meet up. Is there anything else we should add?

Guadalupe River Trail (GRT)UPDATE 

The Montague closure was anticipated to take about one month but will only take 1.5 weeks. Trails believe the next closure (see map image below) may be shorter, too.  When Trails sends the map to SCVWD they will ask them for an accurate start/end date, to include the closure points, and remind them to include information about the project as well as contact information. The route below has been suggested as the alternative route for the next closure. We are working with all parties to ensure that we receive and are able to provide information in a timely manner.
