Thanks Jessica!

Hey Mountain View & Los Altos -- Turning Wheels for Kids desperately needs many more regular volunteers of all sorts as Bike Builders who put together bikes, Bike Buddies who help give out bikes, and Green Team members who make sure everything is kept clean and safe.

Bike Builders can be novice or intermediate mechanics and you will need your own set of tools. Use the link that Jessica provided to volunteer for free (via the Volunteer Button) or volunteer with a donation (the Tickets button).  Sunnyvale has put a team together and we challenge Mountain View & Los Altos to assemble a team as well -- specify "Mtn View + Los Altos" if you want to create your team.  Let's see which team can have more fun putting bikes together!

If you are an advanced or expert mechanic, Turning Wheels also needs many Build Inspectors and Quality Control mechanics. Both of these roles need people with indepth bike mechanic knowledge as well as tools. If you are an excellent bike mechanic, please sign up for one of these roles at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/2025-big-bike-build-volunteers-mechanics-wanted-registration-1956156519809?aff=oddtdtcreator

Thanks!

Sincerely,

Hi Tim and all:
Is this something where folks can be on hand for part of the time, or is it only for the entire time frame?
Thanks!
Bruce

Best if they are there for as long as possible but 2, 3, or 4 hours is also appreciated. Helps if you are part of a team so your other team members can take up the slack -- there is a lot to do -- 1000 bikes to build, inspect, tune, and distribute!
