Hello all:

You might have seen this from me when you first joined, but, just in case you didn't see at that time or joined earlier, here is my standard blurb I send out when people join the local team. As an fyi for you.

Cheers,
Bruce

Do let me know anytime if you would like to talk with me, as the general lead for the Mountain View local team for SVBC, about work our Mountain View / Los Altos team is doing, and about any issues you would like to focus on or prioritize. Also to learn about our various communications channels. For local team campaigns matters, please contact co-lead April Webster (apri...@gmail.com). I should at least mention we have a Google Docs collection for our local teams here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1jqOIXkMl5GiTz33kchBuG8BYIxLJIIDG?usp=sharing, an SVBC Slack Workspace here: bike-siliconvalley.slack.com, and a Slack workspace that covers a variety of topics through specific channels under Mountain View Advocacy here: https://join.slack.com/t/mountainviewadvocacy/shared_invite/zt-2yavpz85s-lPtHcHssv5C0VpeFMmAtmw

You can read about the regular SVBC meetings here: https://bikesiliconvalley.org/biketivism/biketivist-forum-series, and the local team generally meets on the third Wednesday of every month from 6pm to 7pm (even when no regular SVBC meeting is scheduled that month), as you'll see noted in Google Calendar entries with connection information and an agenda provided there.

Bye for now!
Bruce England, SVBC MV co team leader
