Hi Folks,

The VTA Central Bikeway study has a planned route, and made first pass
design for much of that route, including:

separated bike lanes on most of the route (El Camino Real in Santa
Clara, The Alameda, Hedding, Taylor, and Mabrey in San Jose.

A 2-way cycletrack on Taylor.

Many intersection designs intended to separate bicycle from non-bicycle
(I hate the term "vehicular" meaning "not bikes") traffic.

You can make comments to the document, and there are extensive drawings.

The main page is here: https://www.vta.org/projects/central-bikeway-study

The draft report is here:
https://www.vta.org/central-bikeway-study-draft-report

Please pass this along to interested parties.  The study authors would
like to get all comments in December 2021.
