I’ve transitioned to RH TPU tubes in my bikes with 722 wheels, and am contemplating a similar change to my NWT. Looks like there are some options out there (not RH though), anybody have thoughts/experiences to share about specific brands to seek out or avoid? The size I’m looking for is 50-406 (for use with Schwalbe Big Apples).

Thanks,

I, too, am 406 TPU curious. So I'll be waiting to hear what others have to say.

But while I have on the line (to use a 20th century metaphor), what characteristics of the TPU tubes are you most seeking?

I’ve noticed (or think I’ve noticed) lower rolling resistance and rotational weight on my 722-equipped bikes, which translates into a ride that’s both plush and snappy. These effects might not be as pronounced for smaller wheels, but I have a tour coming up and would like to run the experiment.
