FS: Sat-R-Day bike

Hello,

I'm selling a very lightly used Sat-R-Day recumbent bike. It once belonged to my grandfather who loved biking and rode it in the early 2000s. I'm hoping to find it a good home with someone who can enjoy it as much as he did!

I've attached a photo of the bike and can share additional photos and a video of it in action if desired. We tested it out in our neighborhood and it's in great condition. Selling it with the original plastic traveling case for $1,400 and shipping (or best offer). If you're based in Los Angeles or the Bay Area, we can arrange a drop-off/pick-up.

Love these bikes, I have 2 myself, both red - one like yours in the pic, the second with a gas shock at the rear behind the seat where the vertical frame attaches to the rear stay (wonder if that was a custom fix of Bike Friday option?).

Unfortunately, I have no reason for a third, especially as I'm in the UK, just came to say the above and my appreciation for them.

Hi Jacob,

I call it a "gas shock," but it may be just a shock ala spring (I tend to associate shocks with gas!).

Anyway, a pic may do a better job than my wayward wording ;)
