Hello! You have been invited to join this group because you frequently and/or regularly offer your time and energy as a Tech Host for the Bhumisparsha community.

In order to unify communication processes for tech hosting and improve our capacity to support each other in this central facet of Bhumisparsha community life, we created this group to serve as a central hub for communicating about tech hosting. This is an experiment, so we appreciate your feedback in terms of whether this resource is actually helpful or not!

In addition to the fact that Slack is not a preferred medium for many, we were inspired by the way Laura D reworked tech hosting for daily sits by creating a text group to help things feel a little less nebulous and more grounded in relationship. Our hope is that this email group can provide similar support for those who regularly tech-host “evening”/non-Daily Sit offerings as well.

Sesalli and I will be monitoring this group regularly, but our intention is to help improve direct communication within the community of Tech Hosts. Please feel free to email tech-hosting-community@bhumisparsha.org if you ever need support from this group to help cover an offering, troubleshooting if/when any technical issues arise, or if you have any tech hosting related questions or suggestions. Perhaps most importantly, I hope this can be a joyful space where we support and appreciate each other in this beautiful expression of generosity for our community.

If there is anyone else who should be included in this group, please send me their email and they will be invited! Additionally, please share any/all tech hosting related resources that you think would be helpful to have on-hand in this space. Any insight you are able to offer to help make this group an effective support for tech hosting, please share your wisdom! And finally, if for any reason you would prefer not to be included in this group, there is no obligation whatsoever. So, please engage in whatever way feels good.
