Hello BGW experts,

Good moring. I hope you are all doing well today. I have some problems when running BGW package.
I installed the BGW successfully yesterday(seems no errors when compiled). When I runned the examples, the same instructions showed up as below,
Please verify that both the operating system and the processor support Intel(R) X87, CMOV, MMX, FXSAVE, SSE, SSE2, SSE3, SSSE3, SSE4_1, SSE4_2, MOVBE, POPCNT, AVX, F16C, FMA, BMI, LZCNT, AVX2, AVX512F, AVX512DQ, ADX, AVX512CD, AVX512BW and AVX512VL instructions.
The example is the MoS2_SOC from the github examples. I did not change anything. I also submitted them with slurm systems in case they are banned by management team. Could you please let me know what the potential problems are? Thank you and best regards,
Xin

Dear Xin,

This seems to be a cross compilation issue, i.e. you're compiling for one architecture and running on a different one, this used to happen for example compiling for KNL and trying to run on Haswell.
If your system supports different partitions, make sure to compile within an interactive session on a node of the partition you intend to run on.
Easiest way is to open a ticket with the HPC center you're running on and ask for the correct way to build the code.

Best
