Boys golf took on St. Anne and ILHS yesterday. The final three holes were played in the rain and impacted the squad's finish. Nonetheless, the team cruised to a 156 finish for a season low score and picked up two convincing victories. Peyton Serafin earned medalist honors with a 37 to lead the team, Ben Anaclerio contributed a solid 39, and freshman Jacob Benck contributed a personal best 39 to continue his fantastic freshman campaign. Charlie Nowak contributed the final score for the team with a 41.
The boys and girls cross country teams opened their season yesterday at the Irish Conditioner. In the two person relay race where each person runs 2 miles, the girls placed 3rd as a team behind a 6th place finish from Rachel Imig and Maeve McDermott, a 10th place finish from Madison Smith and Raina Mckay and a 14th place finish from Lanaya Kellum and Mia Chavez. The boys held their own placing 6th as a team behind Adrian Sandoval and Jake Pappas' 13th place finish.
