The girls soccer team avenged an earlier season loss to Bloom Trail last night by a score 6-0.  Grace Durante led the way with 4 goals and an assist.  Ava Gaidar tallied a goal and an assist.  Sydney Kettmann rounded out the scoring.  Mikenna Burdick and Teagan Claus also collected assists.  The defensive efforts of Teagan, Saoirse Loonam, Abby Corral, and Ruby Gomez helped Mikenna earn the shutout!  Mikenna tallied 12 saves in the net. 

Yesterday, varsity baseball defeated Momence in comeback fashion by a score of 11-6.  The Bobcats dug themselves a hole giving the Redskins five runs in the third inning.  The team battled back in the bottom of the sixth inning scoring 9 runs in the frame.  Chase Maher had a three hit game including two RBIs, while Tyler Doran had two hits and two RBIs, and Noah Hanson had two hits and one RBI.  Easton Lane picked up the victory coming on in relief of Nicholas Fox.  Lane had 9 strikeouts in 4.2 innings of work and only allowed 1 earned run. 

Anyone interested in playing girls basketball next year needs to see Mr. Keen for a summer schedule. 

Students need to take care of any outstanding fees (lunch account, library fine/book, school fees) before finals begin or their last day of attendance.  Hall locks should be left on lockers and will be re-issued when school resumes in August.
